WEEKEND POINT-AND-CLICK FOLLIES

1. See previous video on upcoming weekend's meager rain chances (best chances Saturday early morning, then late afternoon/evening). Sunday looks warm and dry, but the point-and-click forecasts will lead people astray.

2. Monday is another mainly dry day, but noticeably cooler as the winds shift from off of the cool Atlantic Ocean.

WPC: 5-day rainfall totals should average 0.50

3. Another shot at showers and storms comes in Tuesday afternoon (see previous video). Drying for mid-week, but look for a cool start to Memorial Day weekend (Thursday/Friday with highs in the 60s) before it warms up into the 70s for highs.

A MOTHER'S DAY DELIGHT

1. After another pleasant day Friday, a southeast wind flow will take over for the duration of the weekend. This will keep temps down into the 70s for highs close to the coast, with upper 70s elsewhere. Morning fog and drizzle will develop overnight Friday and overnight Saturday in most areas.

2.  Temps spike into the mid-80s for inland areas Monday and again Tuesday, with near 80 even at the coast.

3. Increase in showers and storms will take place Monday, but really ramp up to a widespread chance for Tuesday and Tuesday night as a cold front works through.  Thunderstorms also possible in most places, particularly inland. Temps remain in the 70s.
