I also take a look at NOAA's winter outlook for precipitation. Models are showing a sharp turn to cold around Turkey Day with two fast-moving fronts beforehand (one on Friday, the other next Tuesday). Until then, it's nice and quiet with temps gradually coming up each day through Friday.
