TEMPS WILL REMAIN NEAR-TO-BELOW AVERAGE THROUGH EARLY NOVEMBER
A general increase in cloudiness, a shot of light rainfall Thursday night into very early Friday morning and then slowly falling daytime temps (starting Saturday) will highlight our weather picture over the next week.
Temps will remain rather warm through Saturday, but times of clouds in the afternoon will prevent readings from getting well into the 70s like we’ve seen. Still though, highs are running well above normal for the month and will continue to do so through much of the weekend.

While the daytime highs will start to slowly come down early next week, a stronger push of cooler air will set its sights on our region by Tuesday night. After a rebound of sorts on Tuesday,
temps will tumble again Tuesday night. The core of the cold temps should reach its peak from Wednesday night through Friday night, with readings holding in the mid 50s.

Precipitation will be lacking during this period, but may pick up sometime next week as a dip in the jet stream takes hold over the eastern states. This pattern configuration could promote more opportunities for coastal storms for the last ten days of the month.
Our best chance at rain will come tomorrow night into Friday morning, but amounts will easily stay under a quarter of an inch of liquid.
