The air mass moving into the region at the present time should be cold enough to support a light snowfall for much of the region for overnight Friday morning through about midday. As has been the case throughout the winter,
areas nearest to the coast stand the best chance of seeing accumulating snow on the order of 1-3 inches. Some
slippery travel is possible Friday during the morning commute. A strong coastal storm will be the culprit, but its main area of heavy snow and wind will stay offshore.
