A MONDAY SOAKER, THEN A SPRING SETBACK FOR LATE WEEK

1. After a nice Sunday, rain arrives overnight. Steadiest, heaviest rains end by early afternoon, but more showers and even a thunderstorm creep in by Monday evening. Leftover showers on Tuesday, but very widely scattered as opposed to the widespread nature of the rainfall on Monday.

2. Dry Tuesday night through Wednesday morning. Scattered showers will advance into and through the region on Wednesday afternoon and night, but not a soaking rainfall.

3. Thursday through early next week should be dry, but the temps will struggle to attain near the average levels for this time of year for highs (in the 50s).  Chilly nights, with temps mainly in the upper 30s to low 40s Thursday night through Saturday night.  Look for another heavy rainmaker to come close to, or over the region for the week of the 27th.
