1. Wednesday will feel like a heat wave, as temps climb into the upper 30s to low 40s on a southerly flow off of the ocean. But this air mass will be short-lived. Gusty winds during the day will usher in the latest in a series of Arctic cold fronts, which will arrive very late at night. Temps tumble sharply at night Wednesday night.
2. Snow will develop for Thursday morning from west to east, most likely around the morning rush hours. Potential is there for up to two inches of new snow by the time the snow ends Thursday morning. Some places may see moderate to heavy snowfall rates for a brief time before the snow ends.

3. Bitter cold for Thursday night into Friday morning, with wind-chill values near to below 0. Quiet weather prevails for the end of the week and for Saturday. Then, we'll have to watch a storm system for Sunday and Sunday night. Accumulating snow is possible during this time frame. This will need updating.
4. Continued cold, stormy weather pattern for the foreseeable future. Pattern appears to be loaded with plenty of cold in addition to an active southern storm track for balance of the month.
